Equipping Students to

Flourish at Wheaton

At Wheaton, our Academic Success offices are dedicated to helping our students thrive in a demanding educational environment. The Writing Center offers personalized coaching for excellence in communication. The Learning and Accessibility Services office provides relational and individualized assistance for all students through one-on-one meetings and high-impact programming. With enhanced programming and additional resources through the Faithfully Forward campaign, imagine how much more we can help students achieve.

“Our faith is rooted in the Word made flesh and in the words of the Holy Scriptures. As faithful disciples of Christ, we are called to be storytellers, to proclaim the good news of the Gospel. The new Writing Center enables Wheaton students to fulfill this calling by providing them a space in which to write and to grow as writers.”
Alison Gibson, Director of the Writing Center, Senior Lecturer of English
“I'm incredibly grateful for the support I have received from Learning and Accessibility Services (LAS) throughout my time here at Wheaton College. Because of the resources and support that they have provided me, I have been able to academically thrive in the classroom. I'm deeply excited about the plan to add more study rooms and spaces for LAS so that they can continue providing support to students like me in the future.”

“Learning is a holy endeavor, and we seek to journey with students through the unique opportunities and challenges that a Wheaton education provides. The relocation and expansion of Learning and Accessibility Services within the new library will multiply that impact through functional and inspiring spaces where students can cultivate a lifelong love of learning alongside each other.”
Melissa Norton, Director of Learning and Accessibility Services
